Recycling waste materials from mines, furnaces and foundries
Besides safety, priority is always put on recovering recyclables for reuse no matter what the waste management task may be. REMONDIS Industrie Service produces high quality recycled materials from different types of hazardous waste, for example from waste oil. The REMONDIS Group also operates specialist facilities that are able to recover and separate precious metals and non-ferrous metals from slag and spent refractories, something that is particularly useful for the steel industry. In other words, we are able to take all your different types of waste and ensure that none of your valuable recyclable materials are unnecessarily destroyed – helping to reduce costs and protect the environment. The metals that we recover are then returned to you segregated according to type so that they can be reused in your production operations. By carrying out this work, REMONDIS Industrie Service is making a key contribution towards conserving natural resources and driving forward environmentally friendly green steel.
Waste that cannot be recycled into materials is further processed into refuse-derived fuels (RDF) for cement and power plants, among other things.
