Not all raw materials can be easily recycled. Distillation residue, resin, glue and adhesives, paint and varnish are all waste materials for which materials recycling is often not the best solution from an economic and ecological perspective. An effective alternative is to process it into RENOTHERM® fuel. Our energy source not only prevents additional carbon dioxide from entering the environment, it also preserves valuable natural resources because it replaces primary energy sources in the power station and cement industry. In fact, RENOTHERM® is made up of 30% biogenic content.
RENOTHERM® solid: high calorific value, unvarying quality
To produce solid fuel from industry wastes, we use an innovative production process that includes strict quality control checks. This ensures an unvarying high calorific value between 16,000 and 20,000 kJ/kg with a guaranteed flashpoint of over 55 °C. The particle size of the fuel can be set to smaller than 10 or smaller than 40 millimetres, depending on the customer's preference, and the pH value is between 4 and 10. We strictly adhere to other facility-specific parameters for hazardous substances like chlorine, cadmium, mercury and other heavy metals.
RENOTHERM® liquid: energy-rich mix, many possible applications
Our pre-manufactured liquid fuel, which is free of disturbing substances, has a firmly defined quality that does not vary. It is especially suited for use in cement factories, power stations and other large firing installations. In the production of the fuel, we use many different substances such as solvents, paint and distillation residues that cannot be further recycled. Strict quality control is involved in every step of the production process. Analytical parameters such as calorific value, pH value and the chlorine, heavy metal and water content are checked continuously. We follow legal guidelines strictly and adhere to our customers' plant limit values just as closely. This ensures that everything runs smoothly when the fuel is used.
