As one of the leading aircraft manufacturers, Airbus supplies half of all commercial aircraft worldwide. We transport and recycle the hazardous wastes that accumulate in the Varel factory – up to 700 tonnes per year. REMONDIS also handles the contract distillation of cleaning solvents, which are processed and then reused in areas related to production.

BASF Coatings AG, Münster, and BASF Schwarzheide GmbH, Schwarzheide

Our largest partner in the chemical industry is BASF. REMONDIS provides services for two subsidiaries of the worldwide group: BASF Schwarzheide GmbH and BASF Coatings AG. Plastics have been developed and produced at the location in Schwarzheide for more than 30 years. BASF Coatings is headquartered in Münster, and is one of the leading specialists for varnish and paint. With company partnerships we provide the same range of services for both locations – from processing accumulated recyclable materials to destroying data storage media to providing power station service.

Continental AG and ContiTech AG, Hannover

With extensive know-how in the road handling control, electronics, sensory analysis and tyre and brake technology, Continental is one of the leading international suppliers of the automobile industry. In Germany the company is the market leader in tyre production. We dispose of all of the hazardous waste that accumulates in their factories in Hannover.

Dräger Immobilien GmbH
is a subsidiary of Drägerwerk AG & Co KGaA, a leading international company in medical and safety technology. At Dräger, environmental protection is an essential aspect of their processes and is involved in the entire lifecycle of the products. With workshop disposal, Dräger Immobilien GmbH (a certified waste management company) has developed a concept for collecting all Dräger products and has gained a strong partner with REMONDIS.

Adam Opel GmbH, Bochum

Since 1962 Opel has had its headquarters in Bochum. Almost 10,000 employees work here producing axles, motors, transmissions and even complete models like the Astra or Zafira. The company is dedicated worldwide to sustainable, ecologically responsible manufacturing. REMONDIS is responsible for all of the workshop disposal needs of the three Bochum production centres. We also handle the recycling of around 9,000 tonnes of residues or residual materials, about 4,500 tonnes of which consists of hazardous waste. The production waste is processed and up to 100% of it is returned to the economic cycle.

Ruhr Oel GmbH, Gelsenkirchen

Ruhr Oel operates two plants in Gelsenkirchen with a total area of approximately 360 hectares and a total production capacity of 12.9 million tonnes per year. Overall 2,500 employees work in the two oil refineries. REMONDIS designed a chemical-physical processing plant for Ruhr Oel in which different types of oil sludge are treated.

Sika Deutschland GmbH, Stuttgart

With their construction chemistry product systems and industrial sealing and glue, Sika Deutschland GmbH is a global industry leader. In addition to the highest level of production standards, service and consulting, the company places the utmost importance on protecting the environment. REMONDIS handles the disposal of all of Sika's accumulated waste – nationwide. We are also responsible for the redistillation of solvents and the destruction of data media.

STILL GmbH, Hamburg

STILL has been supplying customers worldwide with high-quality electric, diesel and LP Gas forklift trucks for over 50 years. Like REMONDIS, STILL also places a great deal of importance on features that make the customer's work easier, which is certainly one of the reasons why the company is a leading provider of forklift trucks, vehicles, tractors and the most modern intra-logistics systems. As part of a company partnership solution, REMONDIS is responsible for the disposal of hazardous production wastes. These include paint slurry, solvents, wash water, rinsing water and separator content. We also provide regular cleaning services for the location's 16 tanks.

US Air Base, Ramstein

The US Air Base Ramstein is one of the properties in the portfolio of the Mainz State Office for Real Estate and Construction Supervision (LBB, Liegenschafts- und Baubetreuung). As a real estate and construction contractor for Rhineland-Palatinate, the state office is also responsible for NATO locations and visiting armed forces. The LBB has commissioned us to operate the military base's central collection depot for hazardous waste products. REMONDIS is also responsible for the collection and transport of selected wastes.
